Deerfield USD 216 - Home of the Spartans

We did not play our best game or anywhere close to what the potential for this team is. I am proud of how our team was able to nearly play a full game, which has not been done in a few years. I also loved how our team rallied and never got down on themselves or quit at any point in the game. Roandy Juarez and Gabriel Crist stepped up big playing center for us on two days of practice, and I'm glad they stepped up to the challenge. We played defensively very well to keep the game close for a while. Ryan Musil ended the game with 16 total tackles. Offensively missing four guys is a problem, but turning the ball over a combined five times will never help us win games, no matter who is on the field. We will get some guys back, work out some problems, and prepare to play Western Plains this week.
